Tallest statue

The tallest statue in the world is the spring temple Buddha in China.Finished in 2002 this enormous statue weighs around 1,000 tonnes and cost $55 million to make.The statue itself is 128m tall but when the pedestal on which it stands is taken into account it comes to 153m tall (or 830ft).
